At the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, Lapu-Lapu City Cebu |
Together with some former iComm comrades Jipooh Obial and Paul Mangawang, we decided to spend our Saturday cycling to round up the best sites in Liloan, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City and Cordova Cebu.
Amidst the scorching summer sun, we whizzed through town and experienced the sights and sounds in this side of Cebu and despite the loads of body aches and obstacles on the road, we got a bargain for a treat as we made various pit stops on the nice sites and eats in town (Pocherohan sa Lapu-Lapu City hall, Sutukil restos, Botongan and Bakasi restos sa Cordova and last and certainly not the least, the Lapu-Lapu Shrine.
After seeing all of this (not to mention pedalling with our stomachs full) you guessed it right. The ride home felt more heavier with each stride as we got through the circumferential road
but nonetheless we've managed to survive to tell the tale.
Paul used his new Diamond Back Mtb, I my SGM Intensity and Jipooh used his Peerless Folding Bike for this long ride.
A pit stop at the Marcelo Fernan Bridge. |
Have your feast on fresh seafoods at the Sutukil Restaurant near the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, Lapu-Lapu City Cebu. |
